A few words from differing perspectives in regards to the last Sussex GOP meeting:

Published February 26, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

A few words from a differing perspectives in regards to the latest Sussex GOP meeting:

Mary Spicer is the President of the Sussex County Republican Women’s Club.  Ms. Spicer released the following letter to the media:

Screaming women and character assassinating men dominated the GOP meeting at Del Tech’s Carter Hall Wednesday evening, February 16, 2011.

The double standard and dichotomy began when the Acting Chairman, Vance Phillips, stated that he needed a Parliamentarian and immediately appointed Brent Wagaman, an individual many people thought was a Registered Libertarian, not a Republican.  There was no review of Brent’s credentials, no motion to permit him to serve.  Yet when Chairman Ron Sams did the very same thing prior to the January, 2011 meeting, Mr. Sams was verbally castigated and the Parliamentarian, Bruce Fitzgerald was pressured to resign for “the good of the Party”.

Motions were made, a substitute agenda approved and the character assassination of Chairman Sams began.  It was all I could do not to laugh out loud!  The very same actions, or “lack thereof”  had been practiced by the 3 previous Sussex County Regional Chairs!!!

So, what was different now?  A hidden agenda had to be fulfilled!  The media were invited whereas in previous situations, the media were asked to leave and the doors were closed.  The hidden agenda became very obvious.  Media were present to record the character assassination and the walk out when Tom Ross began to speak in an effort to publicly disgrace them and to force elected officials to resign from their non-paying jobs.  Does anyone remember when the Primary election results became available in September 2010?

Vance Phillips telephoned WGMD to say that Ron Sams, Tom Ross, State Party Chair, Priscilla Rakestraw, National Committee Woman and Laird Stabler, National Committeeman, “had to go” and that the “Delaware Republican Party will never be the same”.  Aren’t those the same words that came out of the mouth of Christine O’Donnell when she lost the Senate seat in the election?

Having witnessed the effort to embarrass Sams and Ross, I wanted to hear the additional chapter in the effort to dismantle the Party.  WBOC carried the planned character attack on the 11:PM news Wednesday evening.

The following afternoon, I even turned on WGMD after the 3pm news to hear what Bill Colley would say.  Colley stated that he led a “walk-out” when Tom Ross began to speak, and indeed he did, a half dozen or so folks followed him out the door, and as Colley stated, they left the door open to hear what was being said.  Colley’s rude behavior and continued character assassination seems to be the new norm for those few who choose to follow him.  Several dozen of us turn the dial or literally turn off WGMD after the 3PM news.

On the positive side, it is very exciting to see the passion and increased numbers of people interested in Republican politics.  I do, however, wish the thug tactics (with actual threats of bodily harm or in the case of Sams and Ross, character assassinations) would stop.  Does “praying” behavior apply to politics or are they only words to be spoken?    I wish that civility and respect for others would return to Sussex.

Mary Spicer, President,
Delaware Federation of Republican Women

Jeannette Taylor is a registered Republican.  She has a response for Mary Spicer:

Mary,
WOW!  You must have been at a different meeting.  I was at the one at Del Tech in the Carter Partnership Center auditorium.  As a new ED and a long time member of the GOP, I was terribly impressed that there was actually business conducted at this meeting.  That is something I haven’t seen done anytime lately.  The meeting was quiet and well ordered,  (thanks to the incredible job done by Vance) .  Oh yes, there was a lady yelling just prior to adjournment – but I’ll get to that.
There was no “double standard” or “dichotomy” that I saw.  Vance Phillips was elected Chairman Pro Tempore by a majority vote.  I did notice, however, that you failed to mention the first vote with 104 ballots cast by a voting membership of 78 (apparently two voters abstained) that required a second vote done by roll call ballot because somebody was a-cheatin’, which is kind of sad don’t you think for those who have tried everything in their power to keep any business from actually being attended to for months now at Sussex GOP meetings?  I wasn’t even going to mention how juvenile that was, as that kind of goes without saying , but, oh what the heck, it’s time to put on our big boy and girl panties.  Since we (the conservative group) knew going in that we already had the votes needed to get some actual business done and as I know most of them personally and can attest to the honesty and integrity of THAT particular group, it pretty well stands to reason that we know who was behind the cheating shenanigans.
Now, to get back to the dichotomy and double standard.  Vance, according to the existing rules, was entitled to appoint a Parliamentarian Pro Tempore and he asked for any objections – THERE WERE NONE from the voting body present.   (Unless of course, those 26 ghost voters were simply not heard by us mere mortals)    Brent Wangen is a registered Republican and is very well versed in  Robert’s Rules of Order and standard Parliamentary procedure.   The existing rules state that the Chairman may appoint a Parliamentarian “unless the committee has provided otherwise”.    We were not provided the opportunity to provide otherwise as the  current chairman unilaterally chose Bruce Fitzgerald as his appointed Parliamentarian.   Oh yes, I know he said he got the majority vote of the Advisory Board for his appointment.  There are only a few small issues to be taken up with that.  Hmmmmmm, where should I start?   Well, the Advisory Board has no capacity or in legalese – jurisdiction – in this matter.  If you read the existing rules, the Advisory Board’s sole function is to maintain relationship with Republican voter elected officials at all levels.  Also, based on the behaviors exhibited by Mr. Fitzgerald at the previous meeting, he is NOT well versed in Robert’s Rules of Order nor standard Parliamentary Procedure.  Also, Mr. Fitzgerald resigned of his own accord publicly – I believe the next day on WGMD and also called for Mr. Sams to step down.  I could be wrong, I didn’t hear it – only heard about it.  Oh, but enough of that, let’s move on.
The “substitute” agenda contained ALL (that means every single item) from the original agenda but was in a different order to prevent yet another filibuster to prevent any business from being attended to by the voting members present.  This has been an ongoing tactic at past meetings and our purpose was simply to be able to conduct new/old business of the Sussex County GOP.   There was nothing hidden – the agenda was passed out to all voting members for review and comparison to the old agenda.
“Character Assassinations” are not exactly what I would call a resolution to ask for a resignation of a Chairperson who is lacking in true leadership skills and has received a majority vote of no-confidence.  I have heard very few people say they dislike Ron Sams, on a personal level; most everyone likes him.  But the facts are there for all who are interested to see.  There has been NO REAL BUSINESS accomplished in the Sussex GOP for months!
I can’t address the media being asked to leave and the doors being closed at past meetings – I have always seen members of the media present at our meetings so I’m not sure where that is coming from.  I do know that the media didn’t lead the exodus when Tom Ross rose to speak as those recording the event captured every word that he uttered.  A rather large contingent from the gallery (that means spectators) rose and exited when Tom Ross rose to speak.  A few of the voting members joined them.  Others (myself included) tried to stick it out just as a matter of respect.  I did notice, however, that although he made some rather nasty comments about our request for Ron Sams’ resignation (an ongoing issue for months now) that he said absolutely nothing about the 104 ballots cast by 78 present voting members.  You would think that cheating would be an issue, wouldn’t you?
More spectators and members left when Ross started mudslinging at Christine O’Donnell – who by the way,( if you were listening to the Treasurer’s report) has made significant contributions to our operations.  That’s when I had enough and left.  This party has shown little or no regard for the VOTERS’ choice in this state and has gone about choosing the candidate they wish to support prior to the primary.  In case you have forgotten, the conservatives in this state won our first and main initiative last year in eliminating Castle.  O’Donnell was the PEOPLE’S choice in the primary (by a 65-35% margin!) and the GOP is charged with carrying forth the VOICE AND VOTE of the people of the Republican party – NOT THEIR OWN AGENDA.   I guess not everyone has quite gotten the message that we are tired of the good ole boys (and girls) politics at every level.
Most of you aren’t aware of the many previous attempts to get Ron Sams to resign over the last several months but it has been well documented.  He was contacted by a great many people in an effort to get him to resign so that we can pull this party together and move it forward as a voice of the Republican voter in the State of Delaware .   Ron was presented with a significantly large number of signatures from voting members of the SCEC and offered the opportunity to resign with grace and dignity.  Hell, we even offered to throw him a party, tell everyone what a great job he had done in the past and how hard he had worked.   He was also told that failure to resign would result in the resolution and public attempts to strip him of his title due to the lack of confidence by a majority of the voting membership.  Please note the word  M A J O R I T Y, it’s important.
As to embarrassing Ross – well, I can say we really didn’t have to – he just opens his mouth and embarrasses us.
So far as publicity goes, WBOC and WGMD are actually kind of small potatoes; I understand much of what Ross had to say is posted on YouTube for anyone with a computer to view, anywhere .
As for “thug tactics”, well, I haven’t seen or heard any of that either so I’m not sure from what quarter that is coming but it isn’t coming from the conservative voting members of the SCEC.  To my knowledge, none of us have threatened anyone with bodily harm.  We strive to set a higher standard for our activities and the conduct of business.  So far, we have succeeded in doing just that as the meeting was quiet, orderly and well conducted – we actually got through Old and New business without a filibuster from one or more elected representative who only wishes to hear himself talk.   That was the ONLY purpose in moving Ross to the end of the meeting on the revised agenda.   Both Vance and Brent did an outstanding job of maintaining the rules of order and abiding by the existing rules of the SCEC.
No one started yelling until after Ross began his rather insipid and petulant tirade against the Sussex County Republican voter.   This occurred just prior to adjournment of the meeting at 9 pm
So, gee, I don’t know what meeting you were at but it wasn’t the Sussex County GOP meeting on February 16, 2011 at the Carter Partnership Center auditorium on the Del Tech Community College Campus in Georgetown, DE.
And, by the way, I thought that I might pay a visit to the Sussex County Republican Women’s Club monthly meeting so I started looking for a calendar and meeting times.  Unfortunately, I, like most of Sussex County Republican Voters – WORK FOR A LIVING and, therefore, can’t attend a Wednesday luncheon.
Perhaps if you were more accessible to the voting public, you may be more in tune with their voting habits and political attitudes.  We are pretty much fed up with the elitist and self-serving attitudes of the old guard and we’re going to take our party back to the people, where it belongs.   I’m glad you are happy to see a good turn out and a passion for change.  Baby, you ain’t seen nothing’ yet!
For the readers, if you live in my district and wish to be heard, call me.  As a representative of the district, I intend to be accessible.

Jeannette Taylor
2nd ED 41st District

Side by side which story do you believe?  Of course we also have video of the entire event.  A more prudent course for the future may be to, in fact, focus on the future.  What is in store for the Sussex GOP?  Is the walrus swimming upstream or chilling on a block of ice?  Which side are you on?

Sussex GOP faces their fears… the Tea Party

Published February 18, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

Christine O’Donnell stated recently on a local radio show that although she had not planned the events currently going on in Sussex County, Delaware, she approved of what was happening.  Much of this may have had something to do with the infamous statements made by the Delaware GOP Chair Tom Ross.  Remember how he said that Christine wasn’t eligible to be elected dogcatcher?  It seemed throughout Christine’s entire run for Senate that many in the Republican Party weren’t supporting her although most weren’t as vocal as Tom Ross.  Supporters of Christine had a difficult time gaining access to party resources even after Christine beat Mike Castle in the primary.  Tom Ross even filed a legal complaint against Christine O’Donnell and Tea Party Express which has forced Christine to set aside $500,000 for legal proceedings.

As a result, the Tea Party activists in Sussex County tried to take a stand with the local establishment GOP.  Last night’s Sussex County GOP meeting was the culmination of those efforts to date and almost left me speechless… almost.  I will attempt to put into words what I witnessed.  Let me add that I did not orchestrate these events although I do feel like I wrestled a walrus after simply watching the meeting.

Many local activists have been vocal about attempting to co-opt the local GOP as opposed to the GOP co-opting the Tea Party (which the media claims has been going on since day one).  Due to their transparency, the Sussex County GOP Chairman, Ron Sams, knew he was going to be asked to resign tonight.  Why would they ask Ron Sams to resign as opposed to dealing directly with Tom Ross?  Sams has been flagrantly ignoring rules to keep local conservatives from changing the Good Ol’ Boy system he loves so much.

Ron Sams and the Vice Chairman were both absent last night allowing for a unique circumstance.  Local activists were able to vote in a temporary chairperson (although the 44 to 34 vote was a bit too close for comfort) who would actually allow them to vote on a few important issues which local Good Ol’ Boy politicians had been squashing since the election in November.  While waiting for the results to see which side would control the meeting one activist may have put it best.  Do you remember your prom night?  Remember waiting to see whether you or your friends would win king and queen?  Everyone is all dressed up and hoping for the results they want.  Although the 34 people who voted for the Good Ol’ Boy system to remain the same may not have been happy with the results, most of the estimated 400 people in the room cheered loudly.

A few motions were passed, some appointments were changed, and some committees were dissolved.  Brent Wangen, Libertarian turned Republican, was voted in to head the new committee in charge of the new Rules Committee.  (I am still in awe just typing that, in fact I think I will repeat it)  Brent Wangen, Libertarian turned Republican, is in charge of making the new rules of the Sussex County GOP.  I realize that the rules his committee finalizes will have to be voted upon, but this is a huge accomplishment in itself.

A motion was officially submitted and voted upon for Ron Sams to resign although the motion is nonbinding and simply represented the opinions of the party at large.  The motion may be read in its entirety here.  The word that stands out the most to me personally is FAIL.  The motion repeatedly discusses the failures of Ron Sams.

Due to time constraints, the now infamous Tom Ross was given a short amount of time to speak.  This is the first appearance he has made publicly in Sussex County since the election in November.  His speech, well, it must be listened to, and you may do so below.  It really picks up a notch at about 7 minutes in.

Please watch the video and make your own opinions accordingly (we all know I’ll add my own opinions in a bit).

The motion for the resignation of Ron Sams as presented by Christian Hudson on 2/16/11

Published February 17, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

THE SUSSEX COUNTY REPUBLICAN EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE, MOTION ASKING FOR THE FORMAL RESIGNATION OF THE CHAIRMAN OF THE SUSSEX COUNTY REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE BASED ON THE FOLLOWING GROUNDS:

WHEREAS, The Chairman’s primary duty is to preside over regular meetings to provide for an orderly environment for the Sussex County Republican Executive Committee to conduct its business. Chairman Ron Sams has consistently failed to abide by the official rules by:

1. Failure to take Roll Call to ensure that there is the necessary quorum per the official by-laws for the Committee to conduct any business whatsoever.

2. Failure to ensure order at the regular meetings thereby preventing the Executive Committee from conducting necessary business,

3. Failure to allow New Business to be brought before the Executive Committee by having pre-arranged Motions to Adjourn in order to intentionally and prematurely conclude the meetings.

4. Failure to recognize Executive Committee members, thereby preventing them from officially making a motion.

5. Failure to count the results of the “Yeas and the Neas,” resulting in a failure to officially resolve seconded motions on the floor.

WHEREAS, The Chairman’s position is one of an executive, for the express purpose of directing meetings at the pleasure of the Executive Committee; however, Chairman Ron Sams uses the power of the position to further his own personal agenda. The Chairman runs the meetings as though the Executive Committee is there at his pleasure, as if his position was one of a tyrant or sovereign king by:

1. Granting official appointments to the party in opposition to the rules clearly stating that the said positions have to be duly elected by the Executive Committee.

2. Failing to announce and approve the Treasurer’s Report.

3. Granting non-voting members a vote on matters exclusively the privilege of the Executive Committee such as voting on new members of the Executive Committee and Officers of the Executive Committee.

4.      Intentionally omitting whole portions of the Official Agenda for the Executive Committee Meetings so as to suit his own political purposes against the will of the majority.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive Committee of the Republican Party of Sussex County Delaware hereby demands the formal and immediate resignation of Chairman Ron Sams effective immediately.

Ron Paul – YAF claim he’s off his meds after CPAC

Published February 15, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

It is official; Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) have finally shown that they are out of touch with the youth of America.  Of course, this member of the youth of America has long known that YAF was out of touch.  In fact, since they expelled Ron Paul from their advisory board, this is the most I have heard about YAF in years.

According to their website: “YAF’s concern with Rep. Paul stems from his delusional and disturbing alliance with the fringe Anti-War movement”.  YAF’s Senior National Director Jordan Marks stated that Ron Paul is “out of touch” and later said “Rep. Paul is clearly off his meds and must be purged from public office.  YAF is starting the process by removing him from our national advisory board.  Good riddance and he won’t be missed”.  Interestingly enough this is the same stance Ron Paul has had regarding the anti-war movement for years even though he was a surgeon in the Air Force in the 1960s.

Regardless of your own personal opinion of Ron Paul, this public conflict may cause an added measure of strife between the youth of the movement and its older leaders.  Ron Paul obviously has some appeal as he won the CPAC Straw Poll for the second year in a row.

Although Jesse Benton (Ron Paul’s political director) may have said it best: “I hadn’t heard of YAF doing anything in years, I thought they were defunct.  Young Americans for Liberty is the group of the future”.

How Facebook and Myspace can help lead to the death penalty

Published February 15, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

Derrick Powell of Cumberland, Maryland is currently facing the death penalty in Delaware.  The crimes he was convicted of were atrocious and included horrible actions against his fellow man.  Part of the evidence against him (which was included in his trial and helped convict him) included pictures from his MySpace page.  When it comes to social networking sites, anything you post could be used against you in a court of law.

Time and time again reports have come out about potential hackers, potential employers, and even current (soon to be ex) employers using social networking pages to monitor people.  There have also been scattered reports of law enforcement agencies using Facebook or MySpace to find wanted suspects.

In Delaware, a local member of the State Police Hi-Tech Crime Unit located Derrick Powell’s MySpace.  Detective Ronald Scott Garland told a jury how a picture taken on December 17 of 2008 showed a picture of a semi-automatic gun on a dresser (that was the same day which he signed a gun consent form.  This picture, along with testimony from Derrick Powell’s parole agent, Dennis Deans, showed that he violated his parole before the “Murder in the 1st” charge Powell was convicted of on February 8, 2011.

This is not the only case regarding MySpace and death row.  In Texas, Detective Diana Tilton used the murder suspect Raul Cortez’s MySpace page against him.  Tilton claimed, “The MySpace page and its contents was one of the two things the jury asked for during their deliberations on whether he was going to be sentenced to death”.

One website claims a judge has to consider the evidence on a case by case basis to decide whether the evidence provided by the social networking sites is relevant or hearsay in order to determine whether it is admissible in court.

Many people have started posting the following under the “info” on their social networking sites:

Warning–any person and/or institution and/or Agent and/or Agency of any governmental structure including but not limited to the United States Federal Government also using or monitoring/using this website or any of its associated websites, you do NOT have my permission to utilize any of my profile information nor any of the content contained herein including, but not limited to my photos, and/ or the comments made about my photo’s or any other “picture” art posted on my profile.  You are hereby notified that you are strictly prohibited from disclosing, copying, distributing, disseminating, or taking any other action against me with regard to this profile and the contents herein.  The foregoing prohibitions also apply to your employee(s), agent(s), student(s) or any personnel under your direction or control.  The contents of this profile are private and legally privileged and confidential information, and the violation of my personal privacy is punishable by law.

Whether or not this disclaimer would stop law enforcement from using your Facebook page or other social networking pages against you has yet to be seen.

Although many of us are not planning on committing murder or other such horrific crimes in the future, many of us do participate in some kind of civil disobedience now and then (even if we are unaware of it at the time).  Sometimes a few preventative measures can go a long way.

The picture below is Chad Spicer, who was shot and killed by Derrick Powell on September 1st, 2009.  Please note that this article is NOT meant to be sympathetic to Derrick Powell in any way, shape, or form.  Powell’s actions are not condoned by this writer.  My own deepest sympathies go to Chad Spicer’s family.

A brief history of Valentine’s Day (along with a few bad gifts)

Published February 14, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

Valentine’s Day was not always a day dedicated to commercialism pointedly directed at couples.    A brief refresher of the history of Valentine’s Day may be just what we need.

Saint Valentine of Rome was martyred on February 14th around AD 269.  There were two other saints mentioned, also named Valentine, who were also supposedly martyred centuries ago.  Wiki (that’s right, I’m doing the unthinkable and quoting Wiki) has an interesting “Romantic Legend” regarding Saint Valentine.

“St Valentine was persecuted as a Christian and interrogated by Roman Emperor Claudius II in person. Claudius was impressed by Valentine and had a discussion with him, attempting to get him to convert to Roman paganism in order to save his life. Valentine refused and tried to convert Claudius to Christianity instead. Because of this, he was executed. Before his execution, he is reported to have performed a miracle by healing the blind daughter of his jailer.

Since Legenda Aurea still provided no connections whatsoever with sentimental love, appropriate lore has been embroidered in modern times to portray Valentine as a priest who refused an unattested law attributed to Roman Emperor Claudius II, allegedly ordering that young men remain single. The Emperor supposedly did this to grow his army, believing that married men did not make for good soldiers. The priest Valentine, however, secretly performed marriage ceremonies for young men. When Claudius found out about this, he had Valentine arrested and thrown in jail.”

Why am I sharing this story?  Simply because in America we sometimes take our freedoms for granted.

Now, for a bit of advice for my male readers:

A few bad gift ideas:

  • Vacuum Cleaner (or really anything to clean the house) – no matter how much you need a new one, this is not the day
  • Car Wash Gift Certificate – I know they may have a flashy sign, but this is just laughable
  • Quiznos Gift Card – Nothing says “I love you” like a $3 sub (I guess you could include Subway in this as well)
  • Gym membership – Would you really imply that she needs to exercise more?
  • Fishing Rod – (Only in Sussex County would I feel the need to add this, but I do)  No boating accessories either, including engines (you know who you are)
  • Waxing Kit – Whether she needs it or not, save that for the anniversary

Above all, make sure you get her at least a card!

FreedomConnector: The pros and cons of a new toy by FreedomWorks

Published February 10, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

Technological advances keep many of us on our toes.  It becomes difficult to maintain profiles on numerous social networking pages (I am personally on over 40 different social networking sites).  So, why should we add another?  Is there another that is even worth joining?  FreedomConnector is one I have taken the time to join for a few key reasons.

The website itself is set-up like a Ning network, or even like MySpace, but the highlight of FreedomConnector for me is the geo-targeting.  That’s right, you put in your location and you can find all the other activists near you.  With one click of a button, you can easily see events near you as well as find out who is actually active in your area.  With the fast login, you can connect with your Face Book and Twitter accounts allowing your images to be transferred.  I hope that you will eventually be able to allow your status updates from Face Book and your Tweets from Twitter to carry over to FreedomConnector as well (that is my only real complaint).

So, is it worth it to sign up for another site when there are so many already available?  I think the geo-targeting makes it worth it just for a start.  But what else does FreedomConnector have to offer?

I like keeping up to date with the people who keep the Tea Party Movement alive and active.  I know many of us do this on a local level, but many of the people on FreedomConnector do this on the national level.  FreedomWorks did us a great service by creating this site, which allows me to follow the activists in regions that interest me.  If you are interested in a group or representative, you can easily follow their area and see what the Tea Party activists are brewing.

CPAC is set to be the official release of FreedomConnector, but you can sign up now!  Personally, free sites that allow me exclusive and fast updates to the people who affect our national news are always worth the time to sign up!  Make sure you find me on there when you join, just look for Angel Clark in Delaware!

The first step to ending “Climate Change” is Ron Sams’ resignation…

Published February 10, 2011 by Sussex County Angel

OK, maybe Climate Change will not disappear when Ron Sams is out of his leadership position in the Sussex County GOP, but what WILL happen?  Before we focus on the possibilities of growth without Ron Sams holding the gavel, let us compare some past and present issues.

Does everyone remember “The Walrus and the Carpenter”?  This story by Lewis Carroll involves a walrus and a carpenter walking down the beach and talking many oysters into walking with them.  After about a mile (and some interesting chats), the walrus and the carpenter shuck and devour the oysters.

“The time has come,” the Walrus said,
“To talk of many things:
Of shoes–and ships–and sealing-wax–
Of cabbages–and kings–
And why the sea is boiling hot–
And whether pigs have wings.”

Why do I bring this up?  The walrus, with his endearing mustache and friendly smile, reminds me of someone.  All the while he is walking and talking with you, engaging you in interesting conversation and seeming to be on your side, he is also planning to destroy all your hopes for growth in the future.

Is it realistic to say Ron Sams is the source of the Sussex GOP’s problems?  No.  The sources of the problems are much deeper than any one man.  It is realistic to say, however, that Ron Sams is personally standing in the way of many of the changes the Sussex GOP needs to make to grow.  I have seen Ron Sams and his gavel ignore open motions on the floor.  I have seen Ron Sams and his gavel ignore “New Business” in order to stop people from making changes to the system that HE helps to run.

As of February 3rd, “34 GOP Executive Committee members” had signed a petition asking Ron Sams to resign.  At the next GOP meeting (on February 16th) Ron Sams and the Vice Bryan Shupe will apparently not be present.  All interested parties may wish to attend to see what happens.  The word on the Internet is that there will be a motion for Ron Sams to be voted out whether he is there or not.

What changes are possible without Ron Sams having control of the gavel?  Maybe we can find out more about pigs having wings for a starter…
