Hurricane Sandy’s aftermath and power outages could affect voting on Tuesday

For the past few days, many along the eastern shoreline have focused solely onHurricane Sandy. Watching the news and weather reports and searching for damage reports take time. Assessing the damage done to personal belongings have occupied much of the time in people’s days. Especially for those who have lost power. Since Monday, power outages have affected more than 7 million people in 16 states. In many places, the power isexpected to be out for 10 days. This brings up the awkward question which will have to be addressed. How will the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy affect the election on next Tuesday, November 6?
